Working With Me
-
No project is too big or small.
I work with bedrooms, basements, closets, attics, offices, workshops, whole houses, barns, moves, junk drawers, and boxes of old memories.
-
At the outset, we will define your decluttering goals and I will make an individualized plan to reach them.
The general process is always the same:
Step 1: Discarding. We go through all the possessions in your space and discard what no longer brings joy.
Step 2: Organizing. We develop sensible systems that will allow you to stay organized and prevent your space from returning to a state of clutter.
-
I provide coaching and skill development to give you the power to tidy your space and keep it tidy. I work alongside you every step of the way. I also provide good old-fashioned brawn to take away everything you discard.
My goal is to empower you with the skills you need to confront your past and launch joyfully into a clutter-free future. I consider success to be when a client no longer needs me—I aspire to have zero repeat customers.
-
I come in a pickup truck and haul away all discarded items after each session.
My ethos is sustainability—the landfill is always the last option. I have a database of outlets for resale and recycling.
-
I live near Brattleboro, Vermont and serve an area within a 45-minute radius: Southern Vermont, Western Mass, and Southwestern New Hampshire.
-
I charge a sliding scale of $50-$80/hour (you choose what to pay within that range).
-
I offer free 1-hour consultations so you can meet me and get a sense of how I work, and so I can understand the scope of your project and make a plan for tackling it.
